The Elysian Range

To mark Leporello’s 10th Birthday …..

Charles Kimpton, Leporello’s owner & designer, has created a sumptuous and highly decorative range  THE ELYSIAN -  raptuously received at Decorex this week

The master bed is gloriously imposing with its intricate hand carved details rarely seen in reproduction furniture today. The collection includes bedside tables, chests, dressing table, writing table, chairs, a long caned top stool and the most beautiful Bergere chairs with deep filled feather cushions to sink into and enjoy the comforting ambience.

The Elysian Collection takes inspiration from the grand designs of a bygone era, where furniture was highly valued and skilfully crafted by master craftsmen creating pieces that were elegant, refined and decorative and pieces of art in their own right.

Leporello has created a niche market over the last ten years for bespoke hand crafted painted furniture designed and made in England producing furniture with refined proportions and details suitable for the English house and taste and painted in colours that suit our light.

The Elysian collection is a grand collection – very detailed, decorative with beautifully hand carving and a sumptuous feel for quality, craftsmanship and luxury – beautifully designed and created by skilled craftsmen, who take immense pride in their work and have a passion for creating beautiful furniture. This collection has been lovingly created for the discerning customer, who values and respects the traditional skills and craftsmanship and is looking for furniture that is both, beautifully designed, individual and a work of art.

Paint treatments

Leporello has launched three new paint treatments in a range of different colours:-

The Antique Range, the Metallics Range and the sophisticated High Lacquered White finish with hand painted black lining.
In response to clients’ request for an antique French style paint finish, Leporello has launched The Antique hand painted finish, which gives the furniture a soft aged look and works well on its own or when mixed with antique furniture in a room. Available in Antique White, Sage, Green and Grey.

A bespoke metallic finish is available in Silver, Bronze and Gold either as highlights or as an overall paint finish, which is very striking and is very effective against the beautiful wallpapers currently in vogue.

The high lacquered white finish with hand painted black lining gives a clean, crisp, sophisticated contemporary look.

Fairs

Leporello exhibits annually at the prestigious international trade fair for Interior designers, DECOREX, which is held in
Chelsea Hospital Gardens at the end of September. Stand No K347.
